Sandton City - The Chocolate Café
This Easter, Sandton City is bringing an irresistible experience to shoppers with the launch of its Chocolate Café. The one-of-a-kind chocolate shop will run from 10 to 21 April featuring a selection of beloved confectionery brands, the pop-up store promises a tempting array of sweet treats for chocolate lovers of all ages.

Eastgate - The Scoop Shop
The Scoop Shop will serve up delicious soft serve ice creams, including exclusive bunny-themed toppings in a playful and immersive setting.
A celebratory activation in the centre’s Strelitzia Court from Tuesday 15 to Monday 21 April. The activation will also feature family-friendly activities such as face painting, arts and crafts, a reading corner with Exclusive Books, and Build-a-Bunny experiences with Toy Kingdom and Build-a-Bear.
Price: The experience costs R50 per person, which includes one soft serve ice cream with three toppings as well as access to all of the other exciting activities, with the exception of the Build-a-Bunny experience which comes at additional cost, depending on the plush selected.

Melrose Arch - Magical Rainbow Easter Playground & Easter Treasure Hunt
From Friday 18 to Monday 21 April, little ones can immerse themselves in the Magical Rainbow Easter Playground with Clamber Club on the Melrose Arch Piazza. Designed for children aged 1-10, this play paradise features obstacle courses, soft play areas, ball ponds, face painting, egg-and-spoon races, play dough, a colouring corner, and the chance to meet Jog the Frog.
On Easter Sunday, 20 April, from 12pm to 4pm, children can take part in the Magical Rainbow Easter Egg Hunt in the Retail Galleria.
Price: Easter playground: Entry is R70 per hour or R140 per child for unlimited play on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Special Easter Sunday rates apply at R50 per hour or R100 for unlimited play. Easter treasure hunt: Tickets are R115 per child. In the spirit of the season, this event is open to children under 12 only.

Cavendish - The Easter Collective
Bringing the spirit of Easter to life with The Easter Collective – Easter Gifting Pop-Up Shop and Fun for Kids this upcoming holiday. Running from 16 to 20 April, this delightful activation offers the sweetest way to shop for Easter goodies while enjoying some interactive fun during the school break. Designed to add a touch of magic to the long weekend, entertainment for kids, such as Easter egg decorating daily at 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM and 2 PM while parents browse for the Easter selection.

Vincent Park (East London) Easter Night Market
Kicking off the Easter school holidays with a vibrant Easter Market on Thursday, 17 April. Taking place from 5pm to 9pm, the event promises a festive evening filled with family-friendly entertainment, fun interactive activities, and a variety of delicious food options. Children can take part in a range of Easter-themed crafts, from painting mugs and tote bags to designing their own bracelets and bunny masks.
Price: Tickets are R30 per adult, with free entry for children under 12.

The Splash Festival 2025 is making a dazzling return to Kings Beach from April 18th to 21st. Activities for the festival include:

Families can look forward to a host of fun beachside games and activities with no access restrictions, free participation for all, and some great sponsored prizes. Some of the fun to be had includes beach volleyball, beach soccer, beach touch rugby, hula hoops, musical freeze, musical chairs, sandcastle building, treasure hunts, balloon blow ups and cone diving competitions.
