2 of the 8 men linked to Lusikisiki massacre turn State witnesses
The State said that they had very little involvement in the commission of the crime where 18 relatives were killed in Ngobozana Village in Lusikisiki in September last year.

LUSIKISIKI - Two of the eight men linked to the Lusikisiki massacre have turned State witnesses.
Charges against Lwando Abi and Zenande Paya were withdrawn in February.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said that they had little involvement in the murder of 18 relatives in Ngobozana Village in the Eastern Cape last year.

NPA spokesperson, Luxolo Tyali, said that the pair could help the State with important information.
"After perusing the dockets after the completion of the investigations, the prosecution team decided that two of them should made 204 witnesses, meaning that they will be witnesses of the State because they played a minimal role in the commission of the crime, but at the same they are very crucial in linking the accused to the commission of the offence."
