Minister of Police to visit Mpumalanga drug laboratories
This visit follows Hawks' shutdown of the two warehouses and laboratories in Standerton earlier this week.

JOHANNESBURG - Minister of Police Senzo Mchunu is set to visit drug laboratories that were busted in Mpumalanga on Sunday.
This visit follows Hawks' shutdown of the two warehouses and laboratories in Standerton earlier this week.
Law officials managed to seize equipment and substances worth R48 million as well as multiple vehicles.
A total of nine suspects were arrested, with six of the accused being foreign nationals.
SAPS minister spokesperson Kamogelo Mogotsi said “The Minister of Police, Mr Senzo Mchunu, the National Commissioner of Police, General Masemola, together with the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation National Head, (Dr./Adv), Lieutenant General Godfrey Lebeya, will visit the two clandestine laboratories and warehouse which were discovered and shutdown by the Hawks in Standerton, Mpumalanga this week.”
