Woman of Stature Awards shines spotlight on SA’s female trailblazers
Marking its 10th anniversary in 2025, the awards honour 134 women across 14 categories, selected from a record-breaking 700 nominations.

For the past decade, the Woman of Stature Awards have highlighted women making a significant impact across industries such as education, media, engineering, sports, fashion, and wellness.
Du Plessis says the journey of founding these awards was born from a deep passion for empowering women.
"Woman of Stature Awards is all about the recognition of women who are breaking the barriers, breaking through glass ceilings, who are not afraid to stand up and let their voice be heard, but more importantly, it's women who are going beyond their achievements in their industry, but are making a valued contribution to their communities - doing community work and taking what they know, what they have experienced and paying it forward to other people..."

On 12 April, the awards will honour 134 women across 14 categories, selected from a record-breaking 700 nominations.
