Business Day gets bold new look on Monday
The change comes after reader feedback that ‘sometimes you need a whole desk to read Business Day’.
Ray White, standing in for 702's Bongani Bingwa, speaks to Tiisetso Motsoeneng, Business Day Acting Editor.

Business Day is evolving to better service its audience with a new design featuring a compact size, succinct analysis and user-friendly format to ensure users can stay informed in any situation from any location.
Its Berliner format is slightly larger than a tabloid, but it is only three columns across. A broadsheet usually has six columns and a tabloid a maximum of five.
Motsoeneng says the change was implemented after receiving reader feedback with some saying, "You need a whole desk to read Business Day."
The 'bold' new Business Day will start circulating on Monday, 14 April.
"We're striking a perfect balance between a broadsheet and a tabloid... it's called a Berliner format... something easier to handle. This change came after reader feedback that sometimes you need a whole desk to read Business Day."
- Tiisetso Motsoeneng, Acting Editor - Business Day
"... we listen to your feedback. Here is the format that's user-friendly, and easy to handle, but we are not compromising on the quality."
- Tiisetso Motsoeneng, Acting Editor - Business Day
