The summit has been set down for three days, bringing together private and state role players to find lasting solutions to curbing crime.
“Yesterday [Monday] alone Mr President, three people were gunned down, bringing to total 30 people that have been killed in the last month alone in our province. Thirty people died because of battles between taxi bosses and taxi formations in our province.”
Lesufi vows to lay down the law.
“This is enough president. We need to demonstrate to taxi bosses and taxi associations who’s the boss in this country and the boss is law enforcement agencies, they just need firepower to tackle this matter.”
