Limpopo police arrest man in possession of explosives at Beitbridge border post in Musina
The 37-year-old was apprehended during routine inspections at the port of entry’s south gate on Thursday.

JOHANNESBURG - Police in Limpopo have arrested a man found in possession of explosives worth about R300,000 at the Beitbridge Border post in Musina.
The 37-year-old was apprehended during routine inspections at the port of entry’s south gate on Thursday.
Officers searching the truck he was travelling in discovered two illegal explosives.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the truck was en route to Gauteng.
Police spokesperson Hlulani Mashaba said the suspect was expected to appear before the Musina Magistrate's Court soon.
"The provincial commissioner of police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has commended the police officers for their vigilance and swift action. The interception of these explosives is a significant achievement in our ongoing efforts to combat crime and protect our communities."
