Cash-in-transit heist suspects killed in shootout with KZN cops
It is understood the group was being monitored following Monday’s cash-in-transit heist on the M25 highway in KwaMashu, where an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

JOHANNESBURG - Five men suspected of blowing up a cash van in KwaMashu have been killed in a shooting with KwaZulu-Natal police in Ridgeview, Durban.
It is understood the group was being monitored following Monday’s cash-in-transit heist on the M25 highway in KwaMashu, where an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
The suspects were allegedly hiding out at a safe house in the area when members of the police and the Hawks swooped in and confronted them.
They were shot and killed in a vehicle they were using.
