The second annual South Africa Restaurant Awards take place on Monday (7 April) in Sandton.
Operated by the World Restaurant Awards Group, the highly anticipated event spotlights the country’s very best.
From the top restaurants and bars to the professionals making waves in the industry, the awards are solely based on public participation, from the nominations right down to who takes home the big prize.

This year’s awards include a new category, Best Cooking Show, showcasing how far food reaches and its impact.
The likes of ‘Ready, Steady Cook’, ‘MasterChef SA’, ‘Ultimate Braai Master’ and many more are up for the award.

The SA Restaurant Awards will be broadcast on the streaming platform VooVix TV.
Voting is still open and will close at midnight on 31 March.
