Molefe strongly advises taking the necessary steps to safeguard against scams.
"Very importantly, first of all to enable two-factor authentication so the implementation basically of the two-factor authentication adds an additional layer for people to be protected, especially when it comes to unauthorised access.”
Molefe adds that scammers attempt to hack mobile phones on a daily basis.
"Basically based on our research team, daily challenges are posed by phone attacks or phone hacks whether it's malware injections, whether its phishing scams. So, what we basically do with our technology like Eset Live Grid, real time threat data can be collected to help identify and mitigate new cyber threats before they spread widely.”
