JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng provincial government has committed to tracking the family of the "Marry Me" informal settlement patroller who died on Tuesday.
His death brings the death toll of the attack to six. Four are still in hospital recovering, and two others have already been discharged.

Twelve people were attacked – stoned, shot, and set alight – with four dying on the scene.
The Minister of Police, Senzo Mchunu, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi and other provincial officials addressed the community at a hall in Soshanguve on the arrest of two suspects.
Mchunu added that two other suspects have been taken in for questioning.
Lesufi assured families of those who are still in hospital that they are receiving the best care.
“We visited all of them at the hospital. Indeed, the situation was bad, but the medical team has assured us that they will attend to the situation. The minister has expressed sincere condolences to the families. The person that passed on, we just got the information from our ward councillor that he will be in a position to trace that family.”
