SASSA and Postbank are appealing to social grant beneficiaries to continue visiting card replacement sites such as Shoprite, Checkers, Usave, Pick n Pay, Spar, or Boxer stores to do the swap.
"SASSA would like to reassure beneficiaries that they will receive their social grant, even if they have not yet migrated to the Postbank black card or to the bank of their choice, but they will receive their social grants through an alternative payment method at post office counters," said SASSA Western Cape spokesperson Shivani Wahab.
