SALDANHA BAY - The State's main witness in the Joshlin Smith trial is set to return to the dock on Tuesday to continue her cross-examination.

Joshlin's mother, Kelly Smith, Jacquen Appollis and Stevano van Rhyn are charged for the little girl's disappearance.

Former accused turned State witness, Lourentia Lombaard, has testified that the accused are complicit in selling Joshlin to a sangoma for R20,000.

Defence attorney Nobahle Mkabayi, who represents accused number two, van Rhyn will continue trying to poke holes in Lombaard's testimony.

Lombaard previously testified she witnessed Smith sell her six-year-old daughter to a sangoma for R20,000.

She says Smith offered her and van Rhyn one R1,000 and R1,200 respectively to keep quiet.

Lombaard told the court they both accepted the offer although she was never paid the money.

Before his arrest, van Rhyn told police he suspected Lombaard's boyfriend Ayanda Letoni kidnapped Joshlin and sold her for muthi.
