Lesufi visits families of slain community patrollers in Soshanguve

SOSHANGUVE - Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi on Sunday visited the families of four slain community patrollers in Soshanguve, northern Pretoria.
Early on Saturday morning, police found the four bodies, partially burned, with gunshot wounds.
Eight others suffered injuries and were rushed to hospital.

It's understood that a fight ensued when the patrollers spotted a group of men on the street while making the rounds.
It is not yet clear what caused the fight that led to the deaths of the four community patrollers.
A manhunt for the perpetrators, conducted by the police and other stakeholders, is underway.
The Gauteng Premier was at the Soshanguve Police Station.
Community members remain on high alert, waiting for justice for the slain patrollers.
