JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng police have arrested four suspects connected to the blue lights' robberies in Gauteng.

Police said among the people who were apprehended on Thursday, two are police officers.

The suspects are said to disguise themselves as law enforcement officials conducting roadblocks on highways to hijack unsuspecting motorists.

Police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said "information from the interview led the police to two more civilian suspects who were found in possession of three firearms and signal-jamming devices. All four suspects including the police officers were arrested and were further linked to two Kempton park cases of truck hijacking and carjacking".
