JOHANNESBURG - After four decades of crime fighting, Hawks head, Godfrey Lebeya, may soon find himself in the corridors of some of the country’s universities or courtrooms.
Lebeya's term as head of the Hawks will come to an end in May, following his appointment in 2018.
Speaking to EWN, Lebeya said that while he hasn’t had any offers, he did have a few options going forward.
"I'm an advocate of the high court of South Africa. I think that the experience that I have acquired over 40 years will need to be shared, maybe at another level, inclusive of the university level."
