Alleged drug mule still in hospital to remove ingested pellets, case against her postponed
When the woman arrived in Cape Town on a flight from Brazil, she was searched and cocaine was found hidden inside a sports bag. It was also established that she had swallowed an unknown quantity of drug pellets.

CAPE TOWN - The case against an alleged drug mule has been postponed to Monday, because she's still in hospital to remove drug pellets she had ingested.
When the woman arrived in Cape Town on a flight from Brazil, she was searched and cocaine was found hidden inside a sports bag.
It was also established that she had swallowed an unknown quantity of drug pellets.
Hawks spokesperson, Siyabulela Vukubi: "The Western Cape provincial Head of the Hawks, Major-General Makgato lauded the team for their vigilance after a 33-year-old suspect was caught with cocaine at the Cape Town International Airport on 16 March 2025."
