Bodybuilding is all about consistency.
Going to the gym regularly, eating right and training hard are keys to being a successful bodybuilder.
In addition to consistency, Mariti says you need to sculpt every muscle, showing symmetry and definition with a mix of heavy lifting and isolation exercises with strength and compound movement to build muscle density.
"A good bodybuilder is not just about looks; strength is the foundation."
And to get the foundation of strength is to be consistent in three things:
- training
- nutrition
- recovery
Bodybuilding doesn't happen overnight, or even in three months, notes Mariti.
