JOHANNESBURG - Management at the Eskom's Lethabo power station is holding ongoing talks to ensure a swift response to power failures and to develop effective solutions to mitigate crises.
The electricity plant suffered a rare setback with three-unit failures, leading to the re-introduction of load shedding.
Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa expressed confidence in the team at Lethabo power station after visiting the site on Friday.
"What else can we do as a minister to support these efforts to the extent that it requires my attention, we'll provide that effort. But I'm confident that the team have got this under control and of course, they did convey their disappointment themselves that they know that they can perform better."
