Police searching for suspects after attempted ATM bombing in Joburg

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng police are searching for five suspects following an attempted ATM bombing in Lenasia, south of Johannesburg on Thursday morning.
One suspect was killed while two others were injured during a shootout with police this morning.
The police’s Nonkululeko Phokane said they had managed to arrest others.
“At the scene, a shootout ensued and one suspect is deceased, four are arrested, two others are hospitalised and five others are still on the run, and police are head over heels chasing after these criminals that have been sought for various other ATM bombings in Gauteng and other nearby provinces.”
