JOHANNESBURG - South African mining magnate Patrice Motsepe has been elected, unopposed, to serve a second four-year term as the president of CAF (Confédération Africaine de Football).
Motsepe has led African football's governing body since 2021 and will stay at the helm until 2029.
His re-election was confirmed at the 14th CAF Extraordinary General Assembly in Cairo on Wednesday.
