JOHANNESBURG - The United States' embassy in South Africa has moved to set up processes to assist Afrikaners experiencing an alleged genocide in the country.

In an update posted on social media app X on Tuesday afternoon, the mission made available platforms for those seeking additional inquiries and information about the offer.

This follows US President Donald Trump's executive orders in February, which relied on fake news to offer asylum to Afrikaners.
