JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Judge President Dustan Mlambo has issued a directive barring an ex-advocate from accessing the court, after he was found guilty of swindling his clients of thousands of rands.

Senzo Mkhize was struck off the roll of legal practitioners following complaints lodged against him by clients he had accepted money from but for which he failed to deliver services.

However, according to the directive issued by Mlambo, Mkhize continues to enter the court buildings demanding to appear before judges, allegedly on the instructions of clients.

Mkhize ceased to be a legal practitioner in 2023 after the Legal Practice Council received six complaints against him for accepting money for services that he did not render.

One of the complainants also lost the home bequeathed unto her by her grandmother after Mkhize failed to assist her.

The judgment by the Gauteng High Court also details how Mkhize presented himself as senior counsel without being conferred such a status by the president.

Mkhize’s attempts to appeal the order striking him from the roll have been unsuccessful.

Mlambo has thus barred him from accessing the court buildings under claims that he is representing clients and described it as illegitimate.
