CAPE TOWN - The online admissions applications window for learners attending grades R, 1 and 8 in the Western Cape next year, opens on Tuesday and the provincial education department's message to parents is "don't wait!".
Parents are required to submit a number of certified supporting documents, including identification, an immunisation card or Road to Health chart, a latest official school report or academic report and proof of residence.
Western Cape Education MEC, David Maynier said this window closes on 15 April.
"Applications are to be submitted online, and documents will need to be scanned and uploaded to the online admissions system, which is zero-rated for data. The admissions system, as well as background information and step-by-step guides on how to apply, are available on the WCED website."
