South Africa's Mother City is known for receiving international accolades across various areas, often when it comes to the hospitality and tourism industry.
At the start of the New Year, Cape Town was even named Best City in the World in Time Out’s annual global survey.
Now, a local pizza is in the spotlight, with Time Out Travel's list of Top Pizzas in the world.
The global media and hospitality business rated 19 pizzas across the globe, and a family-run restaurant in Little Mowbray made the top 10.
Novo's 'The Fellini' pizza was ranked eighth, beating pizzerias in world cities including Paris, Madrid and Miami.
Their speciality is topped with a winning combo of fennel sausage, caramelised red onion and fior di latte mozzarella.
The reason this pizza is so good is because of its simplicity and the quality of the toppings, writes Time Out's local expert.
Beyond The Fellini, the menu is a compact offering, allowing for focus on getting each pizza perfect.

Appropriately, the title of world's best pizza went to an eatery in the birthplace of pizza - Naples, Italy.
In second place was New York City, followed by Tokyo.
The haters will be outraged to hear that a pineapple-topped delight (Lisbon) also featured on the list, coming in at number 15.
