JOHANNESBURG - Krotoa actress Crystal-Donna Roberts died on Thursday morning after a long battle with breast cancer.
Her husband, Schalk Cornelissen, confirmed the news in a heartfelt Facebook post, writing, "RIP my beautiful, loving wife."
The actress, presenter and writer was born on October 13, 1984, in Cape Town. She was widely admired for her remarkable work in the entertainment industry.
Throughout her career, she delivered standout performances in films such as The Endless River (2015) and Krotoa (2017), the latter of which earned her the prestigious SAFTA Award for Best Actress in 2018.
Roberts inspired many with her strength and was praised for her resilience and courage throughout her journey.
As a breast cancer survivor, she openly shared her personal experience, becoming a beacon of strength for those facing similar challenges.
