The Kolisi Foundation was founded by Siya and Rachel Kolisi in March 2020 with a vision to change narratives of inequality in South Africa.
After her split from Springboks caption Siya Kolisi, it seems that Rachel is hanging up her hat as the foundation's CEO.
Rachel’s departure from the foundation was shared on social media by Justice Desk, an anti-gender-based violence (GBV) non-governmental organisation (NGO) on Friday, 28 February.
The organisation captioned the post with a message 'to surprise Rachel with a heartfelt farewell'.
"We were saddened to hear that she will no longer be CEO of the Kolisi Foundation, but we know she will continue to do incredible things," the post continued.
On Instagram, Rachel Kolisi seemingly and discretely confirmed the news after she removed 'CEO of Kolisi Foundation' from her bio.
Rachel's bio now reads: 'Student, Mom, Speaker, and Director'.
Rachel has been vocal about her healing journey, sharing regular updates on her social media accounts.
She announced recently that she is launching a 21-day fitness challenge, which she labelled 'simple, easy, and super effective'.
She took to her Instagram page to share that she is partnering with Jeff Fitness, a company that offers remote exercise guidance through its app. The challenge starts on 10 March.
Rachel said the fitness challenge was inspired by women sharing their stories with her about their 'heartbreak, loss, devastation and disparity'.
"And almost always they ask: where did you start your healing journey...? It was here. Exercising," Rachel explained in the caption of the post.
In the countdown to the start of the fitness challenge, Rachel shared a video clip of her in training mode before stunning fans on the cover of Women's Health.
Fans in the comments section of Rachel's posts have appreciated her transparency and honesty as she shares life updates - good and bad.
