DURBAN - The search for more victims in KwaZulu-Natal continues following deadly floods.
At least seven people have died in Durban, and nearly 300 homes have been damaged by torrential rains.
Rescue operations have now shifted to recovery, evacuation, and rehousing, with temporary shelters set up in community halls and other public facilities.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said they are still scouring affected areas.
"I can confirm that the two children who unfortunately drowned were from the same incident. SAPS [South African Police Service] Search and Rescue and Metro Police Search and Rescue are still looking for more victims following the flash floods the other night."
