JOHANNESBURG - Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana has confirmed that the G20 finance track meeting in Cape Town has not been able to meet broad consensus on the agenda of South Africa's presidency.
After a week of meetings between the deputies, finance ministers and central bank governors, some matters that were up for debate are still up in the air.
While some global leaders could not agree on all the big ticket themes, Godongwana said there was no opposition to the theme for solidarity, equality and sustainability.
