Modack has been presenting his evidence-in-chief since last week in the Western Cape High Court.
State prosecutor, Greg Wolmarans, on Monday accused Modack of trying to mislead the court with suspected fabricated evidence.
Wolmarans told the court Modack's lawyer, advocate Bashier Sibda, handed the State voice recordings and various documents related to some of the charges Modack faces.
"He has ambushed us with irrelevance, with hearsay, with opinion evidence, and evidence suspected to be manipulated."
Sibda previously presented the court with a list of pings he received from Modack, which Hawks investigators later proved to be manipulated.
The trial continues on Tuesday.
