JOHANNESBURG - A manhunt is underway for a suspect involved in the murder of two men in KwaZakhele, Eastern Cape.
According to reports, the double murder occurred on Friday evening when multiple gunshots were heard in Sakuba Street, Zwide, followed by a car speeding off.
Community members later found two men lying on the pavement with multiple gunshot wounds.
The provincial crime investigation unit has launched an appeal for information, urging anyone with details about the suspects or their whereabouts to come forward.
"The motive and the suspects are unknown, and the investigation is ongoing. The names of the deceased will be released once the next of kin have been informed and identified the bodies," said police spokesperson Sandra Janse van Rensburg.
