Ramaphosa calls on global leaders to adapt to changing times

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has called on global leaders to adapt to changing times as global leaders look for solutions to address a range of challenges.
Ramaphosa made the call at the start of the G20 meeting of foreign ministers at Nasrec in the south of Joburg a short while ago.
Ministers and other high-level delegates are set to spend two days discussing a range of issues affecting the globe.

These include geopolitical tensions, trade ties and climate change.
Ramaphosa says part of the meeting will be to ensure the bloc’s leaders and other global institutions are fit for purpose.
"I think it is important that we should remember that corporation is our greatest strength. Let's seek to find common ground and constructive engagement. Through the G20 we should be able to set the coordinates of a new course for human progress. One that is founded on solidarity, equality as well as sustainability."
