JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Water has announced a gradual improvement in its overall water supply system, saying that some areas were experiencing a full recovery.
The utility said about eleven of its systems across the city have recovered, including Linden, Waterval, and Quellerina.
However, the utility said several others remain under strain, leading to reduced tower and reservoir levels.
"Technical interventions by both Rand Water and Johannesburg Water technical teams are to contribute efforts to sustaining recovery and to improve the affected reservoirs and towers," said Johannesburg Water spokesperson Nombuso Shabalala.
