Evidence shows monthly salary payments of R100,000 to a bank account in Adiel Mukudam's name over a five-month period.
Modack has told the court the payments were part of an agreement that involved Mukudam paying off money owed to Yaseen Modack for the sale of the company.
Hawks officer captain Edward du Plessis had previously testified Mukadam's bank card was found on the driver's seat of the vehicle in which Modack was arrested in April 2021.
Modack said he had no reason to murder Naude.
Naude is allegedly an associate of alleged underworld figures Jerome "Donkie" Boysen and the now-deceased Mark Lifman, who was shot dead recently in George.
A state witness, who can only be identified as Mr A, previously testified he was hired to kill Naude on behalf of Modack.
Mr A admitted to firing several shots at Naude's home in Bellville on 6 September 2019.
Modack said he knew of Naude because he was in charge of security at Cape Town's nightclubs between 2012 and 2017.
"I never met him in person, my lord. And in 2017 my lord the clubs were all signed to TSG my lord -- 80 percent of them my lord -- so there couldn't have been a reason for me my lord to harm him in 2019 my lord."
He told the court Naude was never his rival because he left the nightclub industry after Modack took over security at the clubs in 2017.
