JOHANNESBURG - The City of Tshwane said it has uncovered nearly 45 videos showing patrons being abused by security guards at the Zanzou nightclub in Hatfield.

Three of the victims opened a case with the police two days ago, prompting officers to launch a manhunt for at least eight people.
The majority of the videos showing patrons being abused by bouncers at Zanzou were recorded by a man who claims to have left the job due to the violent culture at the venue.
Police have identified the man as a person of interest, as he claims to have filmed dozens of videos documenting similar incidents at the nightclub.
Tshwane Health MMC Tshegofatso Mashebla said the municipality had obtained some of the footage and was working to acquire more.
"We received close to 45 videos, and we just saw a circulating video whereby the person who came out with this information says that he has 75 videos that he is going to share with the public, including the fact that there were lives of people that were robbed in this establishment."
Investors, partners, and businessmen known as the owners of Zanzou all deny any association with the establishment.
