CAPE TOWN - Build One South Africa (BOSA) said the budget must reflect the "urgent realities" of South Africans who are struggling financially.
Parties inside and outside the Government of National Unity (GNU) have also listed their priorities for Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana, who will deliver the first GNU budget on Wednesday afternoon.

Other priorities include increased spending on infrastructure-led growth and keeping in mind the high cost of living.
BOSA deputy leader Nobuntu Hlazo-Webster said the national landscape is one of struggle.
“Many South Africans are in a debt crisis, many South Africans find themselves unemployed across age groups in the country, and we have many South Africans who find the cost of living to be crippling for them and finding it difficult to be able to survive.”
The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP), meanwhile, said it believes "that there is great potential for accelerated economic growth and job creation" following the formation of the GNU.
