JOHANNESBURG – It’s emerged the security company hired to provide services to Pretoria nightclub, Zanzou is not in compliance with security regulations.
The nightclub is in trouble after videos went viral on social media, showing bouncers torturing patrons.
In the footage, the bouncers are seen sexually and physically assaulting a group of young men.
Police are investigating and arrests are yet to be made.

On Tuesday, Zanzou's management announced that the establishment had parted ways with the security company whose personnel were involved in torturing patrons.
But Tshwane's Health MMC, Tshegofatso Mashabela said the security company in question is not in compliance with standards set by the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
“We also learned that the security company that is operating here is not PSIRA compliant. So those are some of the challenges that we need to deal with. The employees here also came out to complain.”
Meanwhile, Zanzou's management confirmed that the non-compliant security company has been replaced with one that is fully registered and adheres to regulations.
However, the MMC stated that this does not excuse the fact that Zanzou appointed a non-compliant company to provide security services.
Zanzou management has sent a truck to collect all its stock and equipment.
