Zanzou nightclub fires bouncer following disturbing viral video

JOHANNESBURG - A popular Pretoria nightclub exposed on social media for torturing patrons has confirmed the dismissal of the man allegedly responsible for the heinous acts.

The news comes after videos emerged on several online platforms, showing bouncers at Zanzou in Hatfield stripping patrons and forcing them to use foreign objects to perform sexual acts.

In the footage, the security guards can be seen violently handling the customers, who are visibly terrified during the ordeal.

A space that has been known for good times has turned into a complete terror zone for some Pretoria clubgoers. In a viral footage, patrons can be seen begging bouncers for mercy and frightened.

Zanzou nightclub has issued a statement acknowledging that its management is aware of what it only referred to as "practices" taking place at the popular venue.

Club management elaborates that it has been privy to the now-publicised acts for a while.

It has confirmed the bouncer believed to be the mastermind behind the incidents, has been dismissed and that legal action against him is being considered.

The nightclub has however denied that patrons were violated for owing the club as alleged in the viral footage.
