Limpopo cop to appear in court for allegedly shooting her son dead

JOHANNESBURG - A female police officer who allegedly shot and killed her son in Botlokwa, Limpopo, is set to appear in the Morebeng Magistrates Court on Monday.
It’s understood that the suspect and the 25-year-old victim were involved in an altercation at the officer’s home.
Provincial police spokesperson, Malesela Ledwaba, said that the victim’s alleged teenage girlfriend was injured during the crossfire between mother and son.
"Upon arrival with paramedics, they found the victim’s son motionless with gunshot wounds, holding a sharp instrument in his hand. A 16-year-old girl, who was also shot at, sustained serious injuries, and was immediately transported to the local hospital for medical attention."
