JOHANNESBURG - Limpopo police are still searching for four awaiting trial prisoners in Northam.
The four men who were in police custody managed to force their way out of the holding cells.
Police say the men aged 25 to 39 were arrested for tampering with essential infrastructure.
"A team of detectives has been appointed to trace the suspect and also to investigate the circumstances surrounding the escape. Members of the community are urged not to attempt to apprehend the suspects as that might threaten their safety" said Limpopo police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba.
