JOHANNESBURG - The Palm Ridge Magistrates Court has postponed the case of soccer boss Danny Jordaan and his co-accused, Gronie Hluyo to August 2025.
The pair face conspiracy charges to commit fraud after Jordaan allegedly used the South African Football Association (SAFA)'s funds for his benefit.
He is accused of hiring PR company Grit Communications to cleanse his image following rape allegations against him in 2017 and for alleged personal protection services.

The postponement comes after Grit Communications boss Trevor Neethling and his co-accused made representations to the Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions to have charges against them dropped.
"On the 24th of January 2025, Advocate Chauke himself acknowledged receipt of the representations and gave an undertaking that he will require until the first week of March this year, to properly consider the representations and make an informed decision with regards to the representations," said their legal attorney, James Ndebele.
The case is expected back in court on 15 August this year. However, if Neethling is successful in the representations the case will be back in court at an earlier date.
