Repatriation of 14 SA soldiers killed in DRC conflict delayed, confirms SANDF
Earlier this week, General Rudzani Maphwanya confirmed to Parliament that the bodies of the soldiers would arrive in Pretoria on Wednesday.

JOHANNESBURG - The South African Defence Force (SANDF) says there have been delays in the repatriation of 14 soldiers killed in combat in Goma – in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Earlier this week, General Rudzani Maphwanya confirmed to Parliament that the bodies of the soldiers would arrive in Pretoria on Wednesday.
The force stated that all administrative processes were completed and handed to the United Nations.
“The United Nations planned movement for the repatriation of the deceased out of the combat zone has been delayed," said SANDF spokesperson Siphiwe Dlamini.
