WC police investigating murder of two security guards in Langa
The men were shot and killed shortly after 6pm on Monday while escorting a delivery vehicle in the area.

CAPE TOWN - Police are investigating the murder of two security guards in Langa.
The men were shot and killed shortly after 6pm on Monday while escorting a delivery vehicle in the area.
Western Cape police spokesperson, Frederick van Wyk, said that while nothing was stolen, the motive is believed to be robbery.

"According to reports, the security guards were escorting a delivery vehicle and the last delivery was in Langa. On their way back at the circle, it's alleged that two unknown males shot at the white Nissan LDV they were driving in, fatally wounding them. Both firearms were recovered in the vehicle."
Police are appealing to anyone with information, to come forward.
