CAPE TOWN - State prosecutors on Tuesday continued to punch holes in the testimony of alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack's co-accused number two Zane Kilian.
Kilian is accused of tracking the whereabouts of certain targets — including slain top cop Charl Kinnear — allegedly on behalf of Modack.
Modack and his 14 co-accused face 122 charges for various crimes related to operating a criminal enterprise.

State prosecutor Greg Wolmarans used a bail application made by Kilian in November 2023 to show contradictions in his testimony.
During his bail application, Kilian stated the last ping he made for Modack was on 18 September 2025 - the same day Lieutenant Charles Kinnear was murdered.
During his testimony, Kilian denied pinging Kinnear on the day of his murder saying his tracking platform was compromised.
Wolmarans told Kilian he found it strange why he admitted to pinging Kinnear in his bail application but denies doing so in his testimony.
Kilian told the court he did not have all the evidence when he made his bail application.
The cross-examination continues.
