CAPE TOWN - Evidence shows alleged underworld gang boss, Nafiz Modack, gave co-accused, Zane Kilian, a "hit list" which included his alleged underworld rivals, Jerome "Donkie" Booysen and Ralph Stanfield.

Modack and his 14 co-accused face 122 charges for various crimes related to operating a criminal enterprise.

Kilian faced tough questioning in the dock on Monday to answer for pinging various targets, including slain top cop Charl Kinnear, on behalf of Modack.

Zane Kilian's "hit list" included Modack's alleged underworld rivals, Booysen, his son, Joel Booysen, the now-deceased Mark Lifman, his associate, Andre Naude, and Stanfield.

Slain lieutenant Charl Kinnear and major-generals Jeremy Vearey and Andre Lincoln were among nine high-ranking police officers who were also on the list.

Modack faces charges for the murder of Kinnear and attempted murders of Naude and criminal attorney, William Booth, who Kilian pinged more than 600 times.

When asked why he didn't see any "red flags" when Modack instructed him to ping the names on the list, Kilian said he pinged on instruction from Modack and didn't ask any questions.
