18 suspects set to appear in court over assault, robbery of cyclists in Woodstock

CAPE TOWN – Eighteen foreign nationals alleged to be terrorising the Woodstock community are expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Monday.
The suspects were arrested on Saturday after allegedly assaulting and robbing cyclists at Lower Church Street.
Western Cape Mobility MEC Isaac Sileku appealed to communities to report such incidents.
"These arrests reinforce our commitment to ensuring safer travel for cyclists and commuters. We will not tolerate any threats to their safety and law enforcement will continue to act decisively against those who jeopardise the well-being of road users."
