JOHANNESBURG - The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) wants to establish an in-house political college that will teach accredited courses in Marxism-Leninism and Fanon ideology.
The EFF held its first plenum in Limpopo on Friday since the party's third National People’s Assembly (NPA).

The plenum seeks to map a way forward for the resolutions taken at the third NPA.
In 2019, when Julius Malema was re-elected as EFF president, he promised to build a private school in Alexandra within his five-year term.
However, Malema said the COVID-19 pandemic delayed those plans.
He said it is important that all EFF members and the public are educated on the party’s left-wing ideology.
“It is important to attach a time frame on these resolutions to ensure they do not fall through the cracks, and it is equally important to align them with a programme of action, so they do not remain ideas in our heads.”
The African National Congress (ANC) also recently announced the establishment of a political school, which it said will be compulsory for all its members to attend.
