CAPE TOWN - The pre-trial hearing related to the disappearance of six-year-old Joshlin Smith has been postponed to 28 February.

Joshlin is still missing after disappearing from her Middelpos home in February last year.

The little girl's mother, Kelly Smith, cut a lonely figure in the dock on Friday at the Western Cape High Court.

Kelly Smith, Jacquen Appolis and Stevano van Rhyn face charges of kidnapping and human trafficking related to the child's disappearance.

It's the State's case that Smith sold Joshlin to an unknown woman in February last year.

Smith, Appolis, Van Rhyn and Lourentia Lombaard, who has since turned State witness, were arrested shortly after Joshlin's disappearance.

According to the State, Appolis and Van Rhyn are still being held in Malmesbury Prison due to an adminstrative issue.

The court also heard that the matter would be transferred back the Saldanha Bay area when it goes to trial.
