JOHANNESBURG - The matter between the social development department and NPOs in Gauteng has been postponed yet again.
The non–profit organisations have accused the department of submitting an incomplete report of its funding affairs.
The report speaks to details of who the department has funded for the 2024/2025 financial year.
The Gauteng Care Crisis Committee is representing the NPOs in the matter.
Previously, the court heard that the department was instructed to submit a report detailing all affairs regarding its funding of NPOs.
This includes who was selected for funding, who was rejected and why.
However, the NPOs are not happy with the report, saying it is inaccurate.
The applicants' attorney, Matthew Ilsley: "We have noted a number of inaccuracies in the report. The department seems to be blaming administrative inefficiencies from the organisations themselves when we know for certain organisations, that's not the case."
The department has been given until Monday to fix the report.
