Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla set to appear in court over July 2021 unrest

DURBAN - UMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party member of Parliament (MP) Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla will appear in court on Thursday concerning the July 2021 unrest.
The unrest rocked parts of KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng leading to the destruction of property and the looting of businesses.
More than 50 instigators accused of plotting the violence are yet to be trialled.
The July 2021 unrest emanated from sporadic protests demanding the release of former president Jacob Zuma who was jailed for contempt of court in 2021.
However, the protests took a turn for the worse when people started looting businesses.
Some even burnt cars and later shared visuals of the incidents.
At the time, the former president’s daughter seemingly praised the action by tweeting, “We see you”.
